Crisp-skinned, fluffy jacket potatoes are a super cheap way to feed your whole family.

Serve this easy, delicious baked potato with soured cream, cheese, baked beans, tuna may or anything else you fancy!

It's super easy to do, takes 5 minutes to prepare, and about 1 hour to cook.

1. pre-heat the oven

Heat the oven to 200C or gas mark 7

2. brush the potatoes with oil

Prick the potato all over with a fork. Rub a tiny little bit of oil over each potato and put on the top shelf of the oven and bake for 20 minutes.

3. turn down the oven

Turn down the oven to 170C or gas mark 5 and bake for another 45 mins - 1 hour until the skin is crispy and the inside is soft.

4. serve!

Slice the potato in the centre, add a dollop of butter or soured cream and serve. Or serve with your chosen topping!
